Available project reports

BTS can run overview reports on details within a project. Additionally, these reports can be exported to Excel and other file formats. Many of these reports can also be generated for saved filters.

Project reports can be found on each project's summary page. Click the Reports link from the sidebar.

Workload pie charts

The workload pie chart report provides an overview of how work is distributed in the project, based on assignee, status, resolution, and so on. This chart is useful if you are curious about general distribution of work underway in a project. A pie chart report does the same thing, but does not factor in time-tracking estimates.

To generate a pie chart or workload pie chart report:

  1. Click the Pie Chart Report or Workload Pie Chart Report link from a project's reports page.
  2. Select the general aspect of the project you wish to sort the data in the Statistic Type drop-down. For example, if you wish to see the distribution of issues by assignee, select Assignee. If you wish to see the distribution of issues by status, select Status.
  3. Click Next.

The pie chart report includes a data table at the bottom of the report, that holds the specific values used to generate the chart.

User workloads

The user workload report displays the amount of time committed to work for a specific user. The report may be inaccurate, as it only displays time commitments to issues that have enabled time tracking. Running this report will let you see how much time a user has committed to various projects.

To generate a user workload report:

This can provide and overview of the amount of time needed to complete bug types in a version, as well as the distribution of workload to specific assignees.

The report has two sections. The top of the report compiles a summary. The following headers provides workload details for each user involved in the version including. These are displayed by issue and show the type, key, priority, summary, and estimated remaining time for each issue.
